In November 2021, Martin was named The Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf at Paint Creek Country Club, in Lake Orion, Michigan. While at Paint Creek Country Club, He grew the Jr. golf program from 34 juniors to 62 in only 1 year. He is a PGA Assoiciate and certified by the American sports and fitness association. He has shown great success in his coaching which is reflected by his students’ improvements, feedback, and success stories. With his accomplishments in coaching, Martin created Swing 180 Golf Academy, to extend his abilities of advancing his student’s golf swings– with over 150 of his students being Junior Golfers. In January 2022, Martin’s devotion was guided to Rolling Hills Golf Club, where his main initiative was to grow an exceptional and flourishing program for golfers of all ages in the local communities. Martin’s main attribute to his success with coaching Junior Golfers is his own children, Sabrina (9) and Nathaniel (3). With his children also loving the game of golf, he has been able to make lessons for kids easy, fun, and rewarding. With extreme passion and enthusiasm, the goal of Junior Golf is to simplify the golf swing into a more accessible and natural feel. With this summer clinic, Martin will help Junior Golfers understand their swing tendencies and ensures immediate positive results. Through his Creativity and Knowledge, he can explain the corrections needed and how to perform them. Golf is a game that can be loved and played all throughout life, while also teaching the importance of discipline, dedication, and how to take wins and losses through athletics.
